Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active RN (Registered Nurse) license – Georgia or compact state
• Minimum 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience (MICU preferred)
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Proven experience in ventilator management and titrating IV pressors for critically ill patients
• Skilled in complex medication management and care for patients with sepsis, hypertensive urgency, and stroke (CVA)
• Ability to provide care for COVID-positive patients in a designated unit
• Must comply with a strict 75-mile radius restriction

ICU Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate nursing care to critically ill patients in the MICU
• Manage ventilators and titrate IV medications, including pressors, in an acute care setting
• Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition, collaborating with the healthcare team
• Care for patients with complex diagnoses such as sepsis, hypertensive emergencies, and stroke
• Provide clinical support to COVID-positive patients and, as needed, to surgical or cardiac ICU patients
• Document patient care and interventions accurately using the MEDITECH charting system
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and healthcare regulations
