ICU Nursing Job Details

• Location: Keene, NH 03431 (New Hampshire nursing jobs)
• Assignment Type: Travel ICU RN
• Unit: Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
• Start Date: January 19, 2026
• End Date: April 18, 2026
• Duration: 13-week contract
• Shift: 12-hour nights (19:00-07:00)
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Schedule: Every other weekend, rotating holidays

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 1.5 years of recent ICU nursing experience
• Experience with telemetry required
• Active New Hampshire RN License or Compact RN License (proof of state residency required)
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• CCRN certification preferred

ICU RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, 24-hour critical care nursing to medical/surgical patients with unstable vital functions
• Monitor and treat patients with acute coronary syndrome, unstable hemodynamics, and other critical illnesses
• Utilize advanced clinical technology and systems for patient monitoring and care
• Rapidly recognize and respond to life-threatening complications in the ICU setting
• Maintain patient ratios of 2:1 or 1:1, based on acuity and isolation needs
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to provide total patient care
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently using wall-mounted stations and electronic health record systems
