ICU Nursing Job Details
- Location: Keene, NH 03431 (New Hampshire nursing jobs)
- Assignment Type: Travel ICU RN
- Unit: Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
- Start Date: January 19, 2026
- End Date: April 18, 2026
- Duration: 13-week contract
- Shift: 12-hour nights (19:00-07:00)
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Schedule: Every other weekend, rotating holidays
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Minimum 1.5 years of recent ICU nursing experience
- Experience with telemetry required
- Active New Hampshire RN License or Compact RN License (proof of state residency required)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- CCRN certification preferred
ICU RN Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, 24-hour critical care nursing to medical/surgical patients with unstable vital functions
- Monitor and treat patients with acute coronary syndrome, unstable hemodynamics, and other critical illnesses
- Utilize advanced clinical technology and systems for patient monitoring and care
- Rapidly recognize and respond to life-threatening complications in the ICU setting
- Maintain patient ratios of 2:1 or 1:1, based on acuity and isolation needs
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to provide total patient care
- Document patient care accurately and efficiently using wall-mounted stations and electronic health record systems
