Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Oklahoma
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in cardiac stepdown, telemetry, or acute care nursing jobs
• ACLS and NIHSS certifications preferred (applicants without these will still be considered)
• Ability to float to Med/Surg or ER as needed
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Cardiac Stepdown RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to cardiac patients, including those with STEMI/NSTEMI, CHF, and post-cardiothoracic surgery
• Administer and monitor antiarrhythmic IV medications and noninvasive ventilation
• Assess and manage patients with peripheral vascular compromise
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Float to Med/Surg or ER to assist with CVCU/Med Surg holds as required
• Accurately document patient care and clinical interventions
