Travel RN Opportunity - Tuscaloosa, Alabama

Position Details

Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN) – MS/Tele Stroke Unit (Heart Failure / Stroke Unit)
Employment Type: Travel
Location: Tuscaloosa, Alabama
Unit Description:
- 42-bed unit focused on neurological and cardiac conditions (e.g., congestive heart failure, acute stroke)
- 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio
- Work alongside cardiologists and neurologists
- Manage complex neuro-cardiac cases with precision and compassion

Schedule & Hours

Holidays as required
Every other weekend
36 or 48 hours per week available
Must be willing to float to other units and hospitals

Contract Length

13 weeks

Required Qualifications

Education: Associate’s degree in nursing
Licensure: Registered Nurse license in Alabama or Compact license (No temporary licenses accepted)
Certifications:
- AHA BLS
- ACLS
- NIH or Red Cross certification
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years nursing experience overall (or 18 months under highest professional license)
- At least 1 year experience in the specialty (MS/Tele Stroke or related neuro-cardiac nursing)
Prior Travel Experience: Not explicitly required
