Travel ICU RN Job Details

• Assignment Type: Travel nursing contract
• Location: Minneapolis, MN 55426 (Minnesota healthcare jobs)
• Start Date: January 10, 2026
• End Date: March 7, 2026
• Duration: 8 weeks
• Shift: 10-hour shifts; Days and Nights available
• Hours per Week: 40
• Setting: Intensive Care Unit (ICU), with potential to float to PCU, Med-Surg, and Telemetry units
• Weekend Rotation: As needed
• Holiday Requirements: As needed

ICU RN Qualifications

• Active Minnesota RN license (Minnesota nursing jobs)
• Minimum of 2 years recent ICU nursing experience
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS and ACLS certifications
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

ICU Registered Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate care to critically ill patients in the ICU
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and treatment responses
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Administer medications, manage IVs, and operate advanced medical equipment
• Float to Progressive Care Unit (PCU), Medical-Surgical (Med-Surg), and Telemetry units as needed
• Participate in weekend and holiday rotations
