Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months of recent, permanent Operating Room RN experience (prior to travel assignments)
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio (permanent or compact)
• Current BLS certification (must be active, no pending status)
• Circulating experience required
• One recent supervisory reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the OR specialty
• Ability to pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Must be able to work at least every other holiday during the assignment

OR RN Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care in the Operating Room, ensuring safety and comfort throughout surgical procedures
• Circulate and assist in diverse surgical cases, including thoracic surgery, surgical pathology, sub-acute, pediatric PACU, and pediatric OR
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the perioperative healthcare team to provide high-quality clinical support
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with hospital policies and procedures
• Participate in orientation, ongoing training, and required nursing assessments
• Demonstrate flexibility by working assigned shifts, including every other holiday
