ER RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced ER and behavioral health unit
• Manage patient ratios of 1:5-6, with flexibility during peak times
• Float to Pediatric Emergency Department as needed
• Perform triage, continuous IV sedation, and procedural sedation administration/monitoring
• Interpret and manage dysrhythmias and arterial blood gases
• Care for ventilated patients and trauma cases (neuro, ortho, spinal cord, traumatic brain injury, gunshot wounds, amputation, near drowning)
• Administer blood products, IV vasopressors, and manage central/arterial lines
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including IV, respiratory, physical therapy, radiology, pharmacy, and social services
• Complete required module education prior to floor assignment
