Travel Nurse Job Details

• Location: Du Bois, PA 15801 – Explore Pennsylvania nursing jobs in a friendly, vibrant area with access to outdoor recreation.
• Contract Length: 13 weeks (Start: 1/19/2026 – End: 4/20/2026)
• Shift: Night, 3x12-hour shifts per week (19:00 – 07:30)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Unit: GMS3 – 36 beds, adult and geriatric patient population
• Employment Type: Travel RN contract

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania or compact state
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• First-time travel nurses are encouraged to apply
• Must complete PA fingerprinting and Childline registration promptly upon contract signing
• Lab work must be completed within 72 hours of signing contract
• Experience with electronic charting systems preferred
• Flexibility to rotate schedules if needed

Med/Surg Tele RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a Med/Surg Telemetry unit
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings; manage cardiac drips (no titration); respond to rapid response and code teams
• Administer medications, manage IVs, and perform blood product administration
• Care for patients with feeding tubes, colostomies, and renal failure; manage pre/post hemodialysis care
• Utilize isolation precautions and manage central, PICC, and peripheral lines
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, and Pharmacy
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold patient safety standards
• Participate in weekend coverage as scheduled
