Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active RN license in New Jersey or compact state (Registered Nurse jobs NJ)
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in a Medical ICU or critical care nursing role
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

MICU RN Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care to critically ill adult patients in the Medical ICU
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
• Administer medications, manage IVs, and operate critical care equipment
• Educate patients and families regarding care plans and procedures
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment in accordance with hospital policies and procedures
