Registered Nurse Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) nursing experience required
Active Massachusetts RN license (Registered Nurse license)
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
COVID-19 vaccination required

ER Nurse Responsibilities

Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care in a busy Emergency Room setting
Perform rapid assessments, triage, and interventions for acute and critical conditions
Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams
Accurately document patient care in the electronic medical record
Educate and support patients and families during emergency situations
Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
