Travel Nursing Job Details

• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (January 5, 2026 – April 6, 2026)
• Location: Pittsfield, MA 01201 – Massachusetts healthcare jobs
• Setting: Operating Room (OR), 8-bed unit
• Shift: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM, 10-hour day shifts
• Hours: 40 hours per week guaranteed
• On-Call: Rotational on-call required
• Weekend/Holiday: Coverage as needed
• Dress Code: Facility-provided scrubs

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
• Active Massachusetts RN license
• Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) certification
• Current BLS certification (AHA)
• Meditech Expanse EMR experience preferred
• Reliable vehicle for transportation
• Ability to provide work history, skills checklist (within 1 year), and at least one supervisory reference from the past two years
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility

Operating Room Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver first assist support during surgical procedures in the operating room
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and perioperative healthcare team to achieve optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain sterile environment and follow infection control protocols
• Accurately document patient care using Meditech Expanse EMR
• Participate in on-call rotation and provide weekend/holiday coverage as needed
• Complete an 8-hour non-billable orientation prior to assignment start
• Comply with facility policies regarding time off and scheduling requests
