ER RN Job Details – Germantown, TN

• Location: Germantown, Tennessee 38138 (Memphis metro area)
• Healthcare Setting: Short Term Acute Care, Level I Trauma Center
• Assignment Type: Travel Nursing Job
• Start Date: January 26, 2026
• End Date: April 27, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Nursing Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), 3 shifts per week
• Hours per Week: 36
• On-Call: As needed
• Weekend Requirement: As needed
• Orientation: 16 hours

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active RN license in Tennessee or compact state (no pending licenses accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room nursing experience (3+ years preferred)
• Level I Trauma Center experience required
• At least 1 completed previous travel nurse assignment
• Valid driver’s license required
• Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)
• Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility (required for travel nurses)
• ADN or BSN accepted (BSN not required)
• Cerner EMR charting experience preferred
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted with application

ER Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting
• Respond to trauma and critical care situations as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
• Accurately document patient care using Cerner EMR (preferred)
• Float between similar units and campuses within 20 miles as needed
• Participate in orientation and ongoing clinical training
• Work weekends and holidays as required by the travel nursing contract
