Registered Nurse Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited nursing school
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina (required at time of submission)
Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery or Obstetrics experience (2 years preferred)
Travel nursing experience preferred
Ability to provide two supervisory references
BLS certification required

L&D RN Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality, compassionate patient care in the Labor & Delivery unit
Monitor mothers and newborns during labor, delivery, and recovery
Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Accurately document patient care using the MEDITECH EMR system
Educate patients and families about childbirth, postpartum care, and newborn care
Respond to emergencies and provide critical care interventions as needed
