Key Job Details – Fargo Nursing Jobs
- Location: Fargo, ND 58104 (North Dakota healthcare jobs)
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: January 5, 2026 – End: April 6, 2026)
- Facility Type: Acute Care, Medical/Surgical Admissions Unit (15 private beds)
- Shift: 12-hour rotating shifts (07:00–19:30 or 19:00–07:30)
- Schedule: Every other weekend and holiday required
- Guaranteed Hours: 48 hours per week
- Employment Type: Travel RN, On-Site
- Dress Code: Navy Blue Scrubs
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (open to candidates awaiting North Dakota RN licensure)
- Minimum 2 years of recent medical/surgical nursing experience
- Level 1 Trauma Center experience required
- Proficiency with EPIC charting system
- BLS certification (AHA required)
- Ability to thrive in a busy, fast-paced healthcare environment
- Comfortable with rotating shifts
- Travel nurses must reside outside a 60-mile radius of the facility
Med/Surg RN Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to medical/surgical patients
- Perform initial admissions and ongoing patient care in the admissions unit
- Utilize EPIC for electronic charting, Zebra phones for communication, Omnicell for medication management, and Aleris IV pumps
- Float to other medical/surgical units as needed
- Maintain nurse-to-patient ratios of 5:1 (Days) and 6:1 (Nights)
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes
- Comply with all safety, infection control, and quality standards
