• Location: Fargo, ND 58104 (North Dakota healthcare jobs)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: January 5, 2026 – End: April 6, 2026)
• Facility Type: Acute Care, Medical/Surgical Admissions Unit (15 private beds)
• Shift: 12-hour rotating shifts (07:00–19:30 or 19:00–07:30)
• Schedule: Every other weekend and holiday required
• Guaranteed Hours: 48 hours per week
• Employment Type: Travel RN, On-Site
• Dress Code: Navy Blue Scrubs

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (open to candidates awaiting North Dakota RN licensure)
• Minimum 2 years of recent medical/surgical nursing experience
• Level 1 Trauma Center experience required
• Proficiency with EPIC charting system
• BLS certification (AHA required)
• Ability to thrive in a busy, fast-paced healthcare environment
• Comfortable with rotating shifts
• Travel nurses must reside outside a 60-mile radius of the facility

Med/Surg RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to medical/surgical patients
• Perform initial admissions and ongoing patient care in the admissions unit
• Utilize EPIC for electronic charting, Zebra phones for communication, Omnicell for medication management, and Aleris IV pumps
• Float to other medical/surgical units as needed
• Maintain nurse-to-patient ratios of 5:1 (Days) and 6:1 (Nights)
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes
• Comply with all safety, infection control, and quality standards
