• Location: Winchester, TN 37398 (Southern Tennessee)
• Assignment Type: Travel Nursing
• Start Date: December 15, 2025
• End Date: March 16, 2026
• Duration: 13-week contract
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekend Hours: 24 per week
• Unit: Emergency Department (ER)
• Patient Ratio: 1:6
• Electronic Health Record: Meditech
• Orientation: Weekly, on Mondays

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in Tennessee
• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room or MedSurg nursing experience
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, HWC (prior to start)
• Ability to float to other hospital units as needed
• Professional demeanor and strong communication skills
• Must be able to arrive at the facility within 30 minutes to 1 hour if called in
• Scrub color: Any (no casual wear or hoodies)

ER Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care in a busy Emergency Department
• Assess, triage, and monitor patients with acute and chronic conditions
• Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions as ordered
• Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary healthcare teams, and support staff
• Accurately document patient care in the Meditech EHR system
• Respond promptly to emergencies and participate in code situations
• Float to other units as needed to support hospital operations
