• End Date: April 20, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 3x12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM), plus call, with some weekends and holidays
• Hours per Week: 36
• On-Site Position

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Virginia or Compact State
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification preferred
• Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience
• Circulate and scrub experience required (must be able to scrub total joints, craniotomies/neuro, ortho trauma)
• Ortho and neuro surgery experience required
• Experience in Level I Trauma OR preferred
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Travel nurses must live at least 100 miles from the facility (no local candidates)

Operating Room Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver perioperative nursing care for neonates, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
• Circulate and scrub on surgical procedures: general, orthopedics, neurosurgery, plastics, gynecology, oncology, robotic, ENT, ophthalmology, pediatrics, and sports medicine
• Operate advanced surgical technology and equipment (ROSA, Si and Xi daVinci robots, stealth, O-Arm, HIPEC)
• Participate in call rotation and weekend/holiday coverage
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold high standards of patient safety and clinical care
