- Location: Worcester, MA 01655 (Central Massachusetts)
- Healthcare Setting: Level I Trauma Center Emergency Department
- Job Type: Travel Nursing Contract
- Start Date: January 21, 2026
- End Date: April 22, 2026
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Weekend/Holiday Coverage: Required (one major holiday during contract)
- Orientation: 24 hours
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse license (required)
- Minimum 1.5 years of recent Emergency Room RN experience
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC
- Level I Trauma Center and ventilated patient care experience preferred
- Ability to interpret and manage cardiac dysrhythmias
- Pediatric and psych/behavioral health experience in the ED strongly preferred
- EPIC charting experience preferred
- Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions allowed)
- Must pass Tele exam during orientation (minimum 80% score)
Emergency Room Nurse Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate emergency nursing care to patients of all ages (neonates to geriatrics)
- Perform triage, assessment, and management of acute and critical illnesses and injuries
- Monitor and manage ventilated patients and those with cardiac dysrhythmias
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes
- Accurately document patient care using EPIC (preferred)
- Deliver care according to Level I Trauma Center protocols
- Participate in department scheduling, including weekends and holidays
- Complete all required orientation and training modules
