• Location: Worcester, MA 01655 (Central Massachusetts)
• Healthcare Setting: Level I Trauma Center Emergency Department
• Job Type: Travel Nursing Contract
• Start Date: January 21, 2026
• End Date: April 22, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekend/Holiday Coverage: Required (one major holiday during contract)
• Orientation: 24 hours

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse license (required)
• Minimum 1.5 years of recent Emergency Room RN experience
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC
• Level I Trauma Center and ventilated patient care experience preferred
• Ability to interpret and manage cardiac dysrhythmias
• Pediatric and psych/behavioral health experience in the ED strongly preferred
• EPIC charting experience preferred
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions allowed)
• Must pass Tele exam during orientation (minimum 80% score)

Emergency Room Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate emergency nursing care to patients of all ages (neonates to geriatrics)
• Perform triage, assessment, and management of acute and critical illnesses and injuries
• Monitor and manage ventilated patients and those with cardiac dysrhythmias
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes
• Accurately document patient care using EPIC (preferred)
• Deliver care according to Level I Trauma Center protocols
• Participate in department scheduling, including weekends and holidays
• Complete all required orientation and training modules
