Emergency Room RN Job Details

• Location: Scottsbluff, Nebraska (69361)
• Assignment Type: Travel Nursing
• Unit: Emergency Room (ER)

• Duration: 13-week contract
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM); flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Department (ED) nursing experience
• BLS certification required
• Preferred certifications: TNCC, ENPC, PALS, NRP
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity clinical environment
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays

ER Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care in the Emergency Room
• Assess, triage, and prioritize patient care based on acuity and clinical presentation
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as ordered
• Monitor, document, and report patient status and progress
• Respond rapidly and effectively to emergencies and changing patient conditions
• Educate patients and families on care plans, discharge instructions, and health management
