• Job Title: Med/Surg Registered Nurse (RN) – Travel Nurse

• Nursing Shift: 12-hour night shifts (3x12-hour shifts per week)
• Weekly Hours: 36
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: January 12, 2026

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio
• BLS Certification (required before first shift)
• ACLS Certification (required before first shift)
• Minimum 2 years of recent clinical bedside experience
• Experience with EPIC electronic medical records system
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Med/Surg RN Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments for all patients within 8 hours of admission
• Develop individualized care plans with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient responses using EPIC EMR
• Participate in patient rehabilitation programs and discharge planning
• Provide direction, training, and supervision to ancillary nursing staff
• Promote patient and employee safety by following hospital policies and safety protocols
• Communicate changes in patient status to the healthcare team for continuity of care
• Contribute to team building and a supportive work environment
• Assume charge nurse responsibilities as needed after orientation
• Engage in ongoing professional development and continuing education
