- Shift: 12-hour night shifts (3 shifts/week)

Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Michigan or compact state
- BLS Certification (required prior to first shift)
- ACLS Certification (required prior to first shift)
- Minimum 1 year of recent bedside clinical experience in a Med/Surg unit (2 years preferred)
- Strong communication, teamwork, and clinical support skills
Med/Surg RN Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care following individualized nursing care plans
- Supervise Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and orientees
- Perform comprehensive nursing assessments within 8 hours of patient admission
- Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in electronic health records
- Participate in patient rehabilitation programs and interdisciplinary healthcare team conferences
- Initiate discharge planning and patient education from day of admission
- Promote patient safety and employee safety at all times
- Provide direction, training, and supervision to ancillary nursing personnel
- Maintain open communication with the healthcare team and foster a positive work environment
- Assume charge nurse responsibilities as needed following orientation
- Engage in ongoing professional development and continuing education for nursing jobs
