• Unit: Med/Surg Telemetry (MS/Tele)
• Start Date: January 18, 2026
• End Date: April 19, 2026
• Duration: 13-week nursing contract
• Shift: Night shifts, 12 hours (18:30 – 07:00); options for 3x12 or 4x12 per week
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend required
• Floating: May float to other hospital units as needed
• No On-Call Required

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Tennessee or compact state)
• American Heart Association BLS certification
• ACLS certification preferred
• Proficiency with Epic charting system
• First-time travel nurses welcome
• Previous charge nurse experience preferred
• Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Ability to complete compliance documentation and drug testing promptly
• Facial hair must comply with CDC fit testing guidelines

RN Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult patients on a busy Med/Surg Telemetry unit (average census: 35)
• Manage patient ratios of 1:7 during night and weekend shifts
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Phlebotomy, and Pharmacy
• Float to other units as needed to support hospital staffing
• Support and educate nursing students in clinical practice
• Utilize clinical skills such as telemetry monitoring, central line management, blood product administration, and post-surgical care
• Comply with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
