• Shift: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts/week (18:45 – 07:15)
• Weekly Hours: 36

• End Date: May 18, 2026
• Patient Population: Adults and Geriatrics
• Scrub Color: Navy Blue
• Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend
• Floating: May be required within facility

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of recent Medical/Surgical RN experience
• Active Georgia or Compact RN license (required at submission)
• BLS (Basic Life Support), CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention), and NIHSS (Stroke Scale) certifications
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Ability to manage care for up to 8 patients per shift
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Two supervisory references (Manager or above) highly preferred
• Ability to submit compliance documents and schedule labs within 48 hours of contract signing

RN Responsibilities – Medical/Surgical Unit

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to adult and geriatric patients with diagnoses including chest pain, CHF, ESRD, anemia, and abdominal pain
• Perform patient assessments and oversee care for up to 8 patients per shift
• Collaborate with LPNs, Paramedics, and Patient Care Technicians (PCTs)
• Administer medications and procedures: blood product administration, IV management, phlebotomy, telemetry, and pre/post hemodialysis care
• Document patient care using Epic; follow SBAR communication protocols
• Float to other units within the facility as needed
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds with respiratory services, social services, and rapid response teams
• Work every other weekend and major holidays per assignment policy
