Registered Nurse Job Details

• Location: Worcester, MA 01605
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 1/21/2026 – End: 4/22/2026)
• Healthcare Setting: Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Float Pool
• Nursing Shift: Night, 3x12-hour shifts per week (18:45 – 07:15)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Schedule: Every other weekend and every other holiday required (must work a major holiday)
• Self-scheduling: Available with manager approval

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts RN license in hand
• Minimum 18 months of recent acute care experience
• At least 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Epic charting system experience required
• Telemetry nursing experience required
• Must pass a telemetry competency exam during orientation (passing score: 80%)
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions allowed)
• Preferred: Experience with cardiac drips (no titration required)

Registered Nurse Responsibilities

• Float between Medical-Surgical and Telemetry units as needed
• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients with thoracic, bariatric, colo-rectal, orthopedic, urology, and GYN surgical needs
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, manage dysrhythmias, and perform telemetry monitoring
• Utilize Epic for all documentation and charting
• Perform specialized nursing skills such as chest tube management, continuous bladder irrigation, and PCA administration
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver high-quality patient care
• Adhere to all facility policies, including compliance and orientation modules
