Travel RN - ICU

Location: Louisville, Kentucky
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Position Details

Specialty: ICU
Shift: 7 PM - 7 AM
Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
Weekend Hours: Every third weekend
Call Requirements: None
Number of Openings: 1
Float Requirements: May be required to float

NIHSS
BLS
ACLS

Experience Requirements

Years of ICU Experience: 2+ years (highest requirement)
Prior Travel Experience: Not specified / not required

Unit Information

Unit Type: ICU/CCU
Number of Beds: ICU - 12 beds, CCU - 8 beds
Patient Ratios: ICU - 2:1, CCU - 4:1
Equipment: Ventilators, NxStage CRRT, arterial lines, central lines
EMR System: Cerner

Skills & Experience

Must Have: Ventilator management, drip titration, critical care experience
Preferred: CRRT, balloon pump experience
Patient Types: ICU patients with ESRD, COPD, respiratory failure, post-cardiac arrest

Dress Code

Scrub Color: Galaxy Blue top with galaxy blue or black pants
Unacceptable Attire: No sweatshirts, Crocs or shoes with holes; jackets should be scrub color or black without writing; no T-shirts
