Colorado Nursing Job Details

• Location: Glenwood Springs, Colorado (81601) – Colorado nursing jobs
• Assignment Length: 13-week travel RN contract
• Start Date: January 6, 2026
• End Date: April 7, 2026
• Healthcare Setting: Med/Surg Adult, Telemetry Med/Surg, Observation Unit
• Shift: 12-hour day shifts, weekend rotation included
• Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed
• On-Call: Call rotation required (1 call shift per 2-week period)
• Travel Nurse Housing: Newly remodeled, fully furnished studio and one-bedroom apartments available near the hospital (subject to availability)

RN Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in Colorado
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Acute Care, Med-Surg, or Telemetry nursing
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association
• Proof of current flu vaccination (no exemptions)
• Must reside at least 75 miles from the facility (travel nurse requirement)

Travel Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to adult patients in Med/Surg and Observation units
• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams for patients with acute and chronic illnesses, post-orthopedic surgery, and hybrid cath lab procedures
• Accurately document all patient care activities
• Participate in call rotation and respond to staffing needs
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
