• Nursing Shift: 12-hour days
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active RN (Registered Nurse) license – Georgia or compact state
• Minimum 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience (Surgical Trauma ICU preferred)
• Current ACLS, BLS (AHA), and NIHSS certifications
• Strong background in trauma, post-trauma, burns, orthopedics, cardiovascular, and neurosurgical patient care
• Experience with CRRT, dialysis, and Open Heart recovery is a plus
• Ability to care for medical ICU patients as needed
• Must comply with 75-mile radius restriction

ICU Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate nursing care to critically ill surgical and trauma patients
• Monitor, assess, and document patient status and progress using MEDITECH
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Manage complex cases including burns, orthopedic, cardiovascular, neurosurgical, and post-trauma patients
• Provide clinical support for medical ICU patients when necessary
• Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives
• Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols
