Travel Nursing Job Details

• Location: Boise, Idaho (83712) – Idaho nursing jobs
• Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse
• Start Date: January 12, 2026
• End Date: April 13, 2026
• Duration: 13-week contract
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Shift: 10-hour day shifts, Monday–Thursday (PREOP or POSTOP; random day off per week)
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 per week
• Weekend Requirements: None
• Holiday/Call Requirements: None
• Floating: May float to similar departments or other local campuses (Nampa, Meridian, Boise)
• Dress Code: Any color scrubs (no artificial nails; long-sleeve shirts under scrub top allowed, no jackets)
• EMR: Epic electronic medical record

PACU RN Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of pre-op nursing experience in outpatient or inpatient settings
• Ability to float to similar departments and other local campuses as needed
• Epic EMR experience preferred (testing out of Epic class available)
• Willingness to assist in nerve blocks and spinal procedures (training provided)

PACU Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient care in Pre-Op and PACU areas
• Monitor and assess patients recovering from anesthesia and surgical procedures
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Float to similar departments or other local campuses as required
• Assist with nerve blocks and spinal procedures as needed
• Document patient care using Epic EMR
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and adhere to infection control protocols
• Participate in unit orientation and ongoing clinical training
