Travel Nursing Job Details
- Location: Boise, Idaho (83712) – Idaho nursing jobs
- Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse
- Start Date: January 12, 2026
- End Date: April 13, 2026
- Duration: 13-week contract
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Shift: 10-hour day shifts, Monday–Thursday (PREOP or POSTOP; random day off per week)
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 per week
- Weekend Requirements: None
- Holiday/Call Requirements: None
- Floating: May float to similar departments or other local campuses (Nampa, Meridian, Boise)
- Dress Code: Any color scrubs (no artificial nails; long-sleeve shirts under scrub top allowed, no jackets)
- EMR: Epic electronic medical record
PACU RN Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year of pre-op nursing experience in outpatient or inpatient settings
- Ability to float to similar departments and other local campuses as needed
- Epic EMR experience preferred (testing out of Epic class available)
- Willingness to assist in nerve blocks and spinal procedures (training provided)
PACU Nurse Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in Pre-Op and PACU areas
- Monitor and assess patients recovering from anesthesia and surgical procedures
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Float to similar departments or other local campuses as required
- Assist with nerve blocks and spinal procedures as needed
- Document patient care using Epic EMR
- Maintain a safe, clean environment and adhere to infection control protocols
- Participate in unit orientation and ongoing clinical training
