• End Date: April 28, 2026
• Duration: 13-week travel nursing assignment
• Shifts: Night shifts, 3x12-hour (19:00 - 07:30) or 4x12-hour options
• Hours per Week: 36-48, based on shift selection
• Patient Ratio: 1:2
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week for 3x12s, 48 hours/week for 4x12s
• Charting: Cerner EMR
• Scrub Colors: Red top, black bottoms
• Parking: Free onsite parking

ICU Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU RN experience in a hospital setting
• Active Indiana RN license required (must be in hand before start date)
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS (CCRN preferred)
• Previous charge nurse experience required
• Ability to float within scope to meet facility needs
• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays during contract
• Travel nurses only – local Indiana candidates not accepted
• Graduation from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
• Two supervisor references required

ICU Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality critical care nursing to adult and geriatric patients in a busy ICU
• Manage advanced ICU interventions: ventilator management, cardiac monitoring, IABP, CRRT, CVVH
• Administer emergency medications and titrate cardiac/vasoactive drips
• Perform and interpret 12-lead EKGs, manage arterial and central lines, care for fresh tracheostomies
• Participate in rapid response and code situations as part of the interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Float to other hospital units within scope to support patient care
• Document patient care accurately using Cerner EMR
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and clinical support staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
