• Unit: Comprehensive Liver Care ICU (critical care nursing)
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: January 19, 2026
• End Date: April 20, 2026
• Shifts: Rotating 12-hour shifts (Day: 7:00am–7:00pm, Night: 7:00pm–7:00am), 3 shifts per week
• Hours per Week: 36
• On-Site Position

ICU Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Virginia or compact state (required at time of application)
• Minimum 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience
• Transplant or liver care experience highly preferred
• EPIC charting experience required
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Ability to float to other units within scope as needed
• Two professional nursing references required
• Compliance with facility policies, including natural nail policy
• Completion of orientation modules during first week

ICU RN Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care in the Comprehensive Liver Care ICU
• Monitor and manage critically ill patients, including those undergoing liver transplants
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Utilize EPIC for accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Float to other critical care units as needed
• Participate in orientation and complete all required modules
• Maintain compliance with all hospital and healthcare facility policies and procedures
