Travel Nurse Job Details

• Location: Fargo, ND 58104 (North Dakota healthcare jobs)
• Facility Setting: Acute Care – 32-bed Med/Surg Cardiac Unit
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (2/9/2026 – 5/11/2026)
• Shift: 12-hour nights; every other weekend and holiday
• Hours: 36 hours per week guaranteed
• Employment Type: Travel nursing job
• Charting System: EPIC EMR
• Scrub Color: Navy Blue

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active RN license in North Dakota or Compact State (or willingness to obtain)
• BLS certification (AHA required)
• NIHSS certification (or willingness to obtain prior to start)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Medical/Surgical nursing experience in a large hospital (250+ beds)
• Experience with EPIC EMR preferred
• Cardiac nursing experience highly preferred
• Ability to float to all Med/Surg units at any of the three local medical centers as needed
• Must not reside within a 60-mile radius of the facility

RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient care on a busy Med/Surg Telemetry unit
• Conduct patient assessments, documentation, medication administration, and nursing tasks
• Utilize clinical equipment including Omnicell, Alaris IV pumps, and EPIC EMR
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes
• Float to other Med/Surg units within the health system as needed
• Maintain a nurse-to-patient ratio of 5-6:1 during night shifts
• Comply with facility policies, including badge in/out procedures and dress code
