PCU RN Job Details – New Jersey Healthcare Jobs

• Location: Middle Township, NJ 08210 (Jersey Shore area)
• Healthcare Setting: Progressive Care Unit (PCU), Float Nurse
• Schedule: Nights and weekends only (Friday-Sunday)
• Hours per week: 36
• Contract Duration: 8-week nursing contract
• Employment Type: Local, On-Site
• Start Date: February 17, 2026
• Hourly Pay Rate: $85.56/hr

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of recent Telemetry RN experience in a Level 1 Trauma facility
• Active New Jersey Registered Nurse License
• Current American Heart Association BLS Certification
• Current American Heart Association ACLS Certification
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certification
• Fully vaccinated for Flu and COVID-19 (including at least 1 booster)
• Required documentation: cover letter, resume, skills checklist, references, license verification

PCU Nurse Responsibilities

• Float between Progressive Care Units, providing high-quality patient care during night and weekend shifts
• Monitor and assess patients with complex medical needs, including telemetry monitoring
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Respond rapidly and effectively to emergencies in a Level 1 Trauma hospital environment
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and promptly
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
