Radiology Technologist Job Details

- Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 1/12/2026 – End: 4/11/2026)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Shift: Afternoons/Nights (2nd shift, 5x8s: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM; Option for 4x10s: 2:00 PM – 12:30 AM for ASAP starts)
- Weekend Rotation: One weekend every 4 weeks
- Unit Equipment: GE Equipment, C-Arm
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $1,730 - $1,860
Radiology Technologist Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in radiation safety and patient care in a clinical setting
- Certification and Registration with ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) (required)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association (required)
- Proficiency with C-Arm and diagnostic imaging in surgery, OR, ER, portable, inpatient & outpatient settings (required)
- State licensure for Ohio radiology technologist jobs (preferred, unless required by the state)
- EPIC EHR and PACS experience (preferred)
- Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and communication skills
Radiology Technologist Responsibilities
- Obtain and document patient clinical history and lab work for licensed practitioners
- Position and immobilize patients to demonstrate anatomic areas of interest while ensuring comfort and safety
- Apply principles of radiation protection to minimize exposure for patients, self, and others
- Perform radiographic procedures using imaging equipment and accessories
- Assist practitioners with fluoroscopic and specialized radiography procedures, applying aseptic surgical techniques
- Verify informed consent and complete pre- and post-procedure documentation
- Identify, prepare, and/or administer medications/contrast as prescribed
- Evaluate images for technical quality and document patient dose exposures
- Interact professionally with physicians, technologists, hospital staff, patients, and families
- Operate radiographic equipment in accordance with ALARA principles
