Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 18 months of permanent Endoscopy RN experience in a hospital or clinical setting
• Active Ohio Registered Nurse license or Compact State RN license
• BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications
• Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation
• One supervisory reference in Endoscopy specialty required

Endoscopy Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care throughout all phases of endoscopy: Pre-Op, Intra-Procedure, and Post-Op
• Monitor and assess patients before, during, and after endoscopic procedures
• Administer medications and provide clinical support to physicians during procedures
• Accurately document patient care and procedure details in medical records
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to achieve optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant environment per hospital policies and healthcare standards
