Healthcare Setting: On-Site Hospital

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Minimum 18 months of recent, permanent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio or Compact State RN license
Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS & ACLS certifications
Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation

Med/Surg Tele RN Responsibilities

Deliver safe, effective nursing care to patients in the Med/Surg Telemetry unit
Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms; respond promptly to changes in patient condition
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record
Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, and discharge planning
Participate in unit-based quality improvement and clinical support initiatives
