Mammography Technologist Qualifications
- At least 1 year of recent experience as a Mammography Technologist
- Graduate of an accredited AMA school of radiologic technology
- Current Florida Radiologic Technologist license
- ARRT Mammography certification required
- BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- AHCA clearance for Florida healthcare jobs
- Secured housing prior to assignment acceptance
Radiology Technologist Responsibilities
- Perform routine screening and diagnostic mammography procedures
- Conduct needle localization and specimen imaging
- Deliver timely diagnostic imaging services under Radiologist supervision and departmental protocols
- Perform basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable radiography, C-arm procedures, and OR imaging as needed
- Provide compassionate patient care while maintaining high standards of safety and quality
