Job Opportunity: Radiology Technologist
Location: Cleveland, Ohio
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Required Qualifications & Credentials
License:
Must have a valid permanent license as a Radiology Technologist. Temporary licenses are NOT accepted. Primary source verification of professional license/certification required within 30 days of start and updated upon expiration.Certifications:
ARRT certification required.Health Requirements:
- COVID-19 vaccine series preferred but not required (medical or religious exemptions accepted).
- Positive MMR titers within the last 15 years required; booster protocol applies if low titer.
- Positive Varicella titers within the last 15 years required; booster protocol applies if low titer.
- Tdap vaccination within the last 10 years (no declinations accepted).
- Hepatitis B: Proof of full series, partial series with signed declination, or positive titers within 15 years accepted.
- Influenza vaccine required during flu season (October–March); declination requires mask-wearing and completion of specific forms.
- 2-Step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot) test with negative results within last 6 months; annual requirement. If positive, clear chest X-ray and current TB questionnaire required.
- Fit test for N95 respirators completed within 1 year prior to start; updated annually.
Physical Exam:
Pre-employment physical exam within one year of start date confirming ability to work without restrictions.
Background & Verification Requirements
- Criminal background check within 6 months of start, including Social Security trace, county searches (last 7 years), national sex offender registry, and national criminal sweep.
- OIG exclusion check within 6 months prior to start.
- SAM/EPLS/GSA/OFAC screening within 6 months prior to start.
- Ohio fingerprinting and FBI background checks as applicable based on residency duration in Ohio. Attestation allowed if fingerprints pending, with follow-up required.
- Employment verification for the last 5 years through third-party verification (no attestations).
- Education verification through third-party; international education requires equivalency documentation.
- Drug screen within 60 days of start (10-panel, lab report required; instant screens not accepted). New screen required if break in assignment exceeds 60 days.
- Submission packet required including resume, 2 professional references (within last 2 years), job application, and employment history form.
- Non-expired photo ID (Driver’s License or State ID) required.
Competency & Skills
- Skills checklist specific to clinical role completed within 1 year prior to start (only once upon initial hire).
- Competency exam for relevant department with minimum 80% score, completed within 1 year prior to start (only once upon initial hire).
- Core competencies (HIPAA, Joint Commission-NPSG, OSHA topics) with minimum 80% score, completed within 1 year prior to start (only once upon initial hire).
- Completion of required safety and compliance training modules prior to clearance; renewal annually.
