Radiologic Technologist Job Details

• Location: Meridian, Idaho (Zip: 83642) – Idaho healthcare jobs
• Setting: Acute Care – Breast Care Services
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 2/16/2026 – End: 5/18/2026)
• Schedule: 4x10 hour variable day/evening shifts per week
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Shift Times: Screening: 7:30am–4:00pm, 8:00am–4:30pm, 7:00am–5:30pm; Diagnostic: 7:30am–4:00pm, 8:00am–4:30pm, 8:30am–5:00pm
• Weekend/Holiday Requirements: None
• Orientation: 2–3 shifts in addition to general orientation
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2030–$2190

Mammography Technologist Qualifications

• Minimum 3–4 years of experience as a Mammography Technologist or Radiologic Technologist
• At least 1–2 previous travel healthcare contracts completed
• Active ARRT certification required
• Current Mammography certification
• BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
• Experience with EPIC EMR and Change PACS preferred
• Strong communication and patient care skills
• Professional, clean attire (any color scrubs)

Mammography Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammograms, including 4D imaging and scans for implant patients and those with special needs
• Conduct breast scans and assist with procedures using Hologic equipment and biopsy devices
• Ensure accurate documentation and image management using EPIC and Change PACS
• Collaborate with a team of technologists and radiology leads to provide high-quality patient care
• Maintain a safe and welcoming environment for all patients
• Participate in unit-specific orientation and ongoing professional development
