Operating Room Technician Qualifications

• Certification as a Scrub Technologist or Operating Room Technician (OR Tech) required
• Minimum 1 year of experience in an operating room or surgical healthcare setting
• Ability to participate in rotating weekend on-call schedule
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Current eligibility to work in the United States

OR Tech Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons and nurses during operative procedures as a certified OR Tech
• Prepare and maintain sterile surgical instruments and operating room environments
• Anticipate the needs of the surgical healthcare team and respond promptly
• Ensure patient safety and support infection control protocols in the operating room
• Participate in rotating weekend on-call duties as scheduled
