• End Date: May 16, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Hours per Week: 40
• Shifts per Week: 4
• Shift Schedule: 10 Hour Days (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
• On-Call: Rotating schedule (1 weekend every 6 weeks, 4-5 weekdays during a 6-week period); must respond within 30 minutes
• On-Site Position

Cath Lab RN Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas or compact state
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
• 2-3 years of recent Cath Lab RN experience in a clinical healthcare setting
• Proficiency with EPIC and Mac-Lab electronic health record systems
• Strong cardiac rhythm interpretation skills
• Experience with intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP), Impella, and OCTIVUS devices
• Ability to participate in on-call rotations and respond promptly to facility needs

Cath Lab Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures
• Monitor, interpret, and document cardiac rhythms; respond to cardiac emergencies
• Operate and troubleshoot specialized Cath Lab equipment including IABP, Impella, and OCTIVUS
• Document patient care and procedures using EPIC and Mac-Lab systems
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team for optimal patient outcomes
• Participate in on-call rotations, delivering timely clinical support
