- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Shift: 12-hour shifts (Nights: 7:00pm–7:00am or Days: 7:00am–7:00pm; D/N rotation)
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,130 – $2,250
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — New Hampshire RN or compact state RN license accepted (NH nursing jobs, New Hampshire RN)
- At least 1 year of recent ICU or critical care nursing experience (MICU, telemetry, surgical ICU experience considered)
- Proficiency in advanced hemodynamic monitoring and ventilator management (ventilator settings, ventilator care)
- Experience with vasoactive medication administration (pressors, inotropes)
- Ability to assist with central line insertion and maintenance, and other invasive lines
- Familiarity with ICP monitoring, PA lines, waveform interpretation, and post-surgical critical care
- BLS required; ACLS preferred; CCRN certification preferred (critical care certifications)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills for multidisciplinary critical care settings (ICU RN, critical care nurse)
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered critical care to adults in the Medical ICU (MICU)
- Monitor and manage advanced hemodynamics and ventilator settings as an experienced ICU RN
- Administer, titrate, and document vasoactive medications and drips safely
- Assist with insertion, maintenance, and troubleshooting of central lines, drains, and tubes
- Provide care for patients with ventriculostomies, lumbar drains, bolts, and external ventricular drains (EVDs)
- Interpret PA lines and hemodynamic waveforms to guide therapeutic interventions
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, respiratory therapists, and other multidisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation, adhere to ICU safety protocols, and support unit-based quality improvement initiatives
