Electrophysiology Lab Tech Job Details

• Location: Kansas City, KS 66160

• End Date: May 10, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Hours per Week: 40
• Shift: 4x10-hour day shifts, Monday–Friday (days determined by staffing needs), late team rotation
• Orientation: KU NEO, Monday & Tuesday of starting week, 8:30am–4:30pm
• Weekend, On-Call, Holiday Requirements: None
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,710 - $2,920

EP Tech Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Electrophysiology Lab Tech (EP Tech) in a clinical setting
• Proficiency with Carto, Ensite X, Affera, and Rhythmia cardiac mapping systems
• Skilled in scrubbing for RF and PFA ablation procedures, laser lead extractions, LAAO, and device implantations
• Active ACLS & BLS certifications required
• Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) and Registered Cardiovascular Technologist (RCVT) preferred
• Nicotine-free healthcare facility
• New graduates not accepted

EP Tech Responsibilities

• Assist with all Electrophysiology Lab procedures, including ablations, device implantations, and lead extractions
• Operate and troubleshoot advanced cardiac mapping systems (Carto, Ensite X, Affera, Rhythmia)
• Scrub for RF and PFA ablation procedures
• Support laser lead extractions and LAAO procedures
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal cardiac patient outcomes
• Participate in late team rotation as scheduled
• Attend required orientation and maintain compliance with healthcare facility policies
