Travel Mammography Technologist Job Details

• Location: Milwaukee, WI 53233
• Healthcare Setting: Level IV Trauma Center, Level III NICU, Teaching Hospital
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 2/16/2026 – End: 5/16/2026)
• Shift: 8 Hour Day Shifts
• Hours per Week: 40
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2030 - $2190

Mammography Technologist Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of recent experience as a Mammography Technologist or Radiologic Technologist
• Active ARRT certification required
• Current Wisconsin Radiologic Technologist License
• BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
• Experience with 3D Hologic and Hologic Prone stereotactic mammography equipment preferred
• Proficiency in EPIC, Alaris, Pyxis, and McKesson PACS healthcare charting systems

Mammography Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammograms, breast biopsies, and wire localization procedures
• Deliver high-quality imaging and ensure patient safety during all radiology procedures
• Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC and McKesson PACS systems
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team in a busy hospital environment
• Provide compassionate patient care and clear communication throughout the imaging process
• Adhere to all PPE and infection control protocols
• No on-call or weekend rotation required
