- Shift: Day shift, 8-hour shifts (08:30 – 17:00)

- Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1,940 - $2,090
Qualifications – Cardiac Device Technician Jobs
- At least 2 years of experience in remote implanted cardiac device monitoring and technical support
- Proven skills in interrogating and programming pacemakers, ICDs, and defibrillators
- CCDS Cardiac Device Specialist Certification (required)
- BLS certification (required)
- Experience with Epic charting system
- Certified Rhythm Analysis Technician (CRAT) and EKG training certificate (preferred)
- Ability to troubleshoot and reprogram Medtronic, Saint Jude Medical, Boston Scientific, and Biotronik cardiac devices
- Strong communication skills and accurate patient identification
- Successful completion of Relias exams (85% or higher)
- References and comprehensive work history verification
Responsibilities – Cardiac Device Technician Healthcare Role
- Conduct in-person and remote cardiac device checks/interrogations for single, dual, and CRT pacing systems, ICDs, pacemakers, and loop recorders
- Analyze new device transmissions and complete remote transmission reports
- Promptly communicate alarm conditions, heart rhythm abnormalities, or device function changes to cardiologists
- Document patient interactions and device reads in Epic EMR
- Educate patients and schedule follow-up visits
- Troubleshoot and reprogram cardiac devices as necessary
- Organize device clinic operations and follow-up schedules
- Collaborate with Electrophysiology Clinic Nurses and Manager to track device patients and optimize clinic workflow
- Float within hospital or to affiliate hospitals as needed
