Radiology EP Tech Job Details

Location: Kansas City, KS 66160 (Kansas healthcare jobs)
Setting: Electrophysiology Lab (EP Lab)
Contract Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 2/15/2026 – End: 5/17/2026)
Shift: 4x10-hour day shifts, Monday–Friday (days based on staffing needs)
Weekly Hours: 40
Estimated Weekly Salary: $2710–$2920
Employment Type: Travel healthcare contract
Orientation: KU NEO, Monday & Tuesday of starting week, 8:30am–4:30pm
Nicotine-free healthcare facility

EP Tech Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of recent experience as an Electrophysiology Lab Tech (2 years preferred)
Proficient with Carto, Ensite X, Affera, and Rhythmia mapping systems
Experience scrubbing for ablation procedures (RF and PFA), laser lead extractions, LAAO, and device implantations
Active ACLS & BLS certifications required
Preferred: Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) and Registered Cardiovascular Technologist (RCVT)
Ability to attend scheduled orientation
New graduates not eligible

EP Tech Responsibilities

Assist with electrophysiology procedures, including ablations, device implantations, and lead extractions
Operate and troubleshoot advanced cardiac mapping systems (Carto, Ensite X, Affera, Rhythmia)
Scrub and support all ablation procedures (RF and PFA)
Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Maintain compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards
Participate in late team rotation as needed
