Operating Room Tech Job Details

• Location: Globe, AZ 85501 (Arizona healthcare jobs)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks travel contract
• Setting: Operating Room (OR Circulator)
• Schedule: 12-hour day shifts, Monday–Friday (exact shift times may vary)
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Call: Up to 10 days/month or less
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1930–$2080

OR Tech Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent experience as an Operating Room Technician (OR Tech), with proficiency in neurosurgery
• Relevant Nursing or Surgical Tech certification required
• Flu vaccine required (no exceptions)
• Must not have a permanent address within 100 miles of Globe, AZ (100-mile radius rule)
• Experience with a variety of surgical specialties: orthopedic, general surgery, ophthalmology, podiatry, gynecology, pain management, urology, neurosurgery, and hand procedures

Key Responsibilities for Operating Room Tech

• Serve as an OR Circulator, assisting with surgical procedures and ensuring patient safety in the operating room
• Support a busy surgical schedule (approximately 250 surgeries/month) across 4 operating rooms
• Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and perioperative staff to deliver high-quality patient care
• Participate in on-call rotation as scheduled
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, infection control, and safety standards
