Travel Mammography Technologist Job Details

Mammography Technologist Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent experience as a Mammography Technologist or Radiologic Technologist
• Registered by ARRT in Mammography (M-ARRT) – required
• Experience with Hologic mammography equipment and GE DEXA scan preferred
• Ultrasound Technologist experience with breast imaging is a plus
• Flu vaccination required (no declinations accepted)
• Two professional references in mammography or radiology within the last 2 years (one from management level)
• SSN and DOB required for healthcare credentialing

Mammography Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality mammography exams for approximately 15-17 patients per day
• Operate Hologic mammography equipment and GE DEXA scanner for diagnostic imaging
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
• Maintain accurate patient records and comply with all safety and regulatory protocols
• Provide compassionate care and clear communication to patients throughout their imaging experience
