Travel Nursing Job Details

• Location: Burlington, MA (01805) – Greater Boston area
• Healthcare Setting: Nursing Float Pool – Medical/Surgical Telemetry
• Contract Type: Travel RN contract
• Start Date: February 16, 2026
• End Date: April 13, 2026
• Duration: 8 weeks
• Hours per Week: 36
• Shift: 12-hour rotating shifts (days/nights: 7a-7:30p & 7p-7:30a), rotating in 4-week blocks
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend (days: Sat/Sun; nights: Fri/Sat/Sun)
• Guaranteed Hours: 72 hours biweekly

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Massachusetts nursing jobs
• Minimum 2 years of recent Medical/Surgical Telemetry experience
• Epic EMR experience required
• BLS certification (AHA) required
• ACLS (AHA) and NIHSS preferred
• Level 1 trauma experience preferred; required if no prior travel RN experience
• Must be separated from Beth Israel Lahey Health for at least 6 months
• Ability to pass day-one clinical testing (Relias practice tests available)

RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in the Medical/Surgical Telemetry Float Pool
• Float to ED holds, inpatient holds, PACU, and other boarding units as needed
• Maintain patient ratios between 1:3-5
• Adapt to rotating shifts and weekend requirements
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Document patient care accurately using Epic EMR
• Participate in ongoing education and pass required clinical assessments
