Key Job Details – OBGYN RN Travel Contract

• Location: Summit, Wisconsin 53066 (near Waukesha, WI)
• Healthcare Setting: Outpatient OBGYN Clinic
• Contract Length: 13 weeks (Start: 2/16/2026 – End: 5/16/2026)
• Shift: 8-hour day shifts (40 hours/week)
• Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts OR Mon, Wed, Thu, Fri 7:30am–5:00pm with half-day Tuesday
• Weekend Rotation: None
• On Call: None
• Holiday Schedule: No major holidays; half-day Christmas Eve; work NYE, not NYD
• Scrub Color: Any solid color (no graphics/designs)
• Parking: Free on-site parking

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Wisconsin or compact state (required)
• Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience, with at least 1 year in OBGYN or women's health
• BLS certification (Basic Life Support)
• Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) certification
• Experience with EPIC EMR (highly preferred for healthcare jobs)
• Strong ability to collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary clinical teams
• First-time travel nurses are welcome to apply

OBGYN RN Responsibilities

• Rooming OB patients and assisting with early OB workups, viability checks, and growth scans
• Managing in-basket tasks, phone triage, and medication refills for women's health patients
• Chaperoning and assisting with in-office gynecological procedures
• Supporting high-risk OB patients (multiples, diabetes, hypertension, placental complications)
• Providing care for GYN patients: menstrual disorders, infections, reproductive health, cancer-related diagnoses, menopause, and family planning
• Collaborating with assigned and other providers, including 7 physicians and primary nurses
• Utilizing unit-specific equipment (NST machine, etc.)
• Occasionally floating to nearby OBGYN clinics in Waukesha, Wisconsin as needed
