• Location: Seymour, Indiana (47274) – Indiana nursing jobs
• Unit: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) – Critical Care Nursing
• Employment Type: Travel Nurse Contract
• Start Date: February 16, 2026
• End Date: May 18, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts (30-minute unpaid break)
• Guaranteed Hours: 34.5 hours per week
• Pay Rate: $87.00 - $97.00 per hour
• Floating: Required to float to MedSurg and other clinical units as needed
• Bed Size: 7-bed ICU
• Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 2:1 or 1:1
• Dress Code: Professional nurse attire

ICU RN Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Indiana or compact state
• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience (critical care experience preferred)
• Current AHA BLS and AHA ACLS certifications
• NIHSS certification required
• Previous travel nursing experience in the U.S. healthcare system
• Ability and willingness to float to MedSurg and other clinical units as needed

ICU Nurse Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and analyze clinical data
• Deliver high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to critically ill patients
• Evaluate and adjust care plans to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Operate specialized ICU equipment: Liberty Peritoneal Dialysis Cycler, Meditech, Omnicell, Philips monitors, Alaris IV pumps, NICOM
• Float to MedSurg and other hospital units within scope as required
• Maintain professional standards and comply with hospital policies and procedures
