• Job Title: Social Worker – MSW (Travel Contract)
• Location: Show Low, AZ 85901 (Arizona healthcare jobs)
• Employment Type: Travel Contract
• Healthcare Setting: On-site at a regional medical center
• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:30am – 5:00pm
• Shifts per Week: 5 (8-hour day shifts)
• Total Hours: 40 hours per week
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,807 – $2,008

Social Worker Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) required
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a healthcare, hospital, or clinical setting
• BLS/CPR certification from AHA (required within 30 days of hire)
• Arizona fingerprint clearance card (required for Arizona social work jobs)
• Proficiency with EMR systems (Allscripts preferred) and MS Office
• Excellent communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills

Social Worker Responsibilities

• Perform psychosocial assessments and develop individualized care plans for patients
• Deliver crisis intervention, patient counseling, and behavioral health support
• Mediate and manage behavioral health legalities and documentation
• Facilitate discharge planning and coordinate healthcare resources for patients and families
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
